BTC Transactions Per Day: 618.3K
How many Bitcoin transactions were confirmed on the network each day. This is one day's count, not a running all-time total.
The number of confirmed transactions recorded in that day's blocks. Each one is a payment someone made and miners included in the ledger.
Higher means the network is busier that day. For example, 450,000 transactions on a day where the recent normal is 350,000 means about 30% more payments went through, which usually pushes fees up too, because block space is fixed.
Sustained rises over months point to real growth in usage; a single spike is often one service doing a batch of work.
Taken as blockchain.info publishes it: confirmed transactions in that day's blocks. Nothing is calculated on our side.
It counts transactions, not people or dollars โ one transaction can pay one person or a thousand. Activity that happens inside an exchange **never** touches the blockchain and **is not** counted here.
