BTC Power Law Divergence: 0.583
Bitcoin's price divided by its long-term trend line. 1.0 means exactly on trend; past bottoms sat around 0.4 and below, and past tops several times above.
One number: today's price divided by the fitted long-run growth curve from the Power Law chart. It turns 'how far **above** or **below** trend are we' into a single figure.
For example, 0.5 means the price is half its long-run trend value โ every past cycle bottom sat near or **below** that. A reading of 3 means three times trend, which has **only** happened during blow-off rallies.
Around 1.0 means the price is exactly where the long-run trend says it usually sits, which is the least informative reading of all.
In words: the price divided by the value of the growth curve fitted through Bitcoin's whole price history against the network's age.
The curve is refitted over all available history every time the chart loads, so early values shift slightly as new history arrives โ normal for this type of chart, but it means today's line **is not** the line you would have seen years ago.
