BTC 50MARP Momentum: 0.109
How fast the 50-day profit ratio has been changing over the past 30 days. Green means it has been climbing through the month; red means it has been falling. Every point shown is real up to the date on the badge above the chart.
The percentage change over the last 30 days in the 50MARP ratio โ that is, in bitcoin's smoothed price measured against the smoothed price its owners paid. It measures direction and speed, not level.
It tells you which way the profit ratio is heading and how quickly. For example, +12% means the ratio sits 12% **higher** than it did 30 days ago, so the market has been pulling further **above** what owners paid all month.
Negative readings mean the opposite. Because it measures change rather than level, it can be strongly positive while the market is still cheap in absolute terms โ that is what the start of a recovery looks like.
In words: today's 50MARP ratio compared with the same ratio 30 days ago, written as a percentage change.
Every point on screen is real and complete up to the date on the badge **above** the chart. The outside feed that supplied them is switched off for good; our own Bitcoin node โ a full copy of the blockchain that we run ourselves โ is recounting this series from the very first block, and new points resume once that finishes.
It reacts to change **only**, and both underlying inputs are 50-day averages, which adds further delay.
bitcoin-data.com (BGeometrics) supplied every point on this chart, and each one is real up to the snapshot date shown. Safu switched that feed off for good because its licence does not let us republish the data, so no newer days and no older days will arrive from it โ no paid key and no purchased history are planned. Safu's own Bitcoin node is re-reading the blockchain from 2009 to rebuild this history. Feed no longer used.
