BTC Price by Halving Clock: $79,676.63
Bitcoin's entire price history coloured by how close each day was to the next halving โ cool right after one, hot as the next approaches. It makes the four-year rhythm visible at a glance.
The usual price line, with every day tinted by how many days were left until the next halving on that date. Halvings happened in 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024; the 2028 date is an estimate.
Look at whether the strong price stretches line up across cycles by colour. For example, in past cycles the biggest rises came in roughly the 12 to 18 months after a halving, which shows up as the price climbing while the colours are still cool and warming.
It is a way of stacking four separate cycles on one chart โ it **does not** claim that halvings cause the moves.
In words: draw the full price history and colour each day by how many days remained until the next halving, using the actual 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024 dates and an estimate for 2028.
The next halving date is estimated from how fast blocks are being found, so the most recent colours shift slightly as that estimate updates. Four cycles is a very small sample to read a rhythm from.
