BTC 4 Year Comparison: 1.248
Every halving cycle's price shown as a multiple of its own halving-day price, all lined up on the same clock. It shows whether this cycle is running faster or slower than 2012, 2016 and 2020 did.
Each cycle starts at 1.0 on its halving day, and its line shows how many times that starting price the market reached as the cycle went on. Putting all four on one clock makes them directly comparable regardless of the price level at the time.
For example, if the current line reads 2.4 at day 500 while the 2020 line read 5.1 at the same point, this cycle has grown less than half as fast as the last one had by then. Each cycle has topped at a **lower** multiple than the one before โ 2012 far **above** 2016, and 2016 above 2020 โ which is the clearest pattern on this chart.
In words: divide each cycle's daily price by the price on that cycle's halving day, then draw all four lines from day zero on the same horizontal clock.
The 2012 cycle's line starts where our price history starts, in August 2010, so its halving-day price is real but the run-up before it is missing. Four cycles is a very small sample to compare.
