BTC Long-Term Holder NUPL: 0.384
The paper profit of patient owners โ those whose coins have not moved in more than 155 days โ as a share of what their coins are worth today. Every point shown is real up to the date on the badge above the chart.
Take **only** the coins that have sat still for more than 155 days. Compare what they are worth now with what they last changed hands for, and express the gap as a share of today's value.
For example, 0.75 means three-quarters of the value held by patient owners is profit they have not taken yet. Below 0 even the patient crowd is holding at a loss.
Readings in the middle of the range say very little. It measures how much unrealised profit the patient half of the market is sitting on right now; it **does not** say when any of it gets taken.
In words: for coins unmoved for more than 155 days, take today's value minus their value at the last movement, then divide by today's value.
Every point on screen is real and complete up to the date on the badge **above** the chart. The outside feed that supplied them is switched off for good; **our own Bitcoin node** โ a full copy of the blockchain that we run ourselves โ is recounting this series from the very first block, and new points resume once that finishes.
The 155-day cut-off is a convention, and coins that are lost forever count as patient owners, which inflates the profit shown.
bitcoin-data.com (BGeometrics) supplied every point on this chart, and each one is real up to the snapshot date shown. Safu switched that feed off for good because its licence does not let us republish the data, so no newer days and no older days will arrive from it โ no paid key and no purchased history are planned. Safu's own Bitcoin node is re-reading the blockchain from 2009 to rebuild this history. Feed no longer used.
