BTC Humpback Supply (โฅ10k BTC): 3.03M
How much bitcoin sits in the very largest wallets โ every address holding 10,000 โฟ or more. These are mostly exchanges, funds and a handful of enormous individual owners.
The total bitcoin held in addresses whose current balance is 10,000 โฟ or more. An address is a single account number on the blockchain; nicknames like 'humpback' are simply the label for that size band.
Rising means the very biggest addresses are gaining coins; **falling** means they are giving them up. For example, a climb from 3.1 million โฟ to 3.3 million โฟ over two months means about 200,000 โฟ moved into the largest addresses โ roughly seven times every new coin mined in that period.
Turning points matter far more than the level, because much of this balance is exchange storage that **never** really changes owner.
Each day **our own Bitcoin node** adds up the current balance of every address holding 10,000 โฟ or more.
This counts addresses, not people or companies: one exchange's cold storage shows up as a single giant address, while one owner can spread coins across many addresses. Our node currently shows history from 2023 and fills in earlier years as it finishes recounting the blockchain from the first block.
