How many separate addresses hold 10,000 ₿ or more. This is a count of addresses — not coins, and not people.
The number of addresses on the blockchain whose current balance is 10,000 ₿ or more, counted fresh each day.
Being a count, it moves in whole steps and can sit flat for long stretches. For example, a move from 105 to 110 means five addresses crossed the 10,000 ₿ line — that could be five new giant owners, or one existing owner consolidating coins out of smaller addresses.
Compare it with Humpback Supply: if coins rise while the count stays flat, the existing giants are simply getting bigger.
Each day **our own Bitcoin node** counts every address holding 10,000 ₿ or more.
This counts addresses, not people or companies: an exchange can keep thousands of customers' coins in one address and count as one, while a single wealthy owner can spread coins across dozens of addresses and **never** appear here. Our node currently shows history from 2023 and fills in earlier years as it finishes recounting the blockchain from the first block.
