BTC Real Bitcoin Dominance: 70.17%
Bitcoin's share of the crypto market once stablecoins are taken out. Ordinary dominance figures are watered down by dollar-tokens that never compete with bitcoin; this strips them out.
Bitcoin's value as a percentage of the combined value of the top-50 coins we track, with the dollar-pegged stablecoins removed from that total. It shows how much of the genuinely speculative money sits in bitcoin rather than in other coins.
Rising means money is concentrating in bitcoin; **falling** means it is spreading into other coins, which people call altcoin season. For example, a slide from 62% to 54% over two months means roughly an eighth of the speculative money left bitcoin for everything else.
It says nothing about direction โ dominance can rise while every coin falls, if bitcoin simply falls least.
In words: bitcoin's total value divided by the combined value of bitcoin plus the other coins we track, after removing the stablecoins USDT, USDC, DAI, FDUSD and TUSD, times 100. Days when fewer than 25 other coins report are dropped rather than guessed.
The comparison pool is the top-50 coins we track, not the entire market, so this reads about 1 to 2 percentage points **higher** than a whole-market calculation. History reaches back roughly 400 days and grows one day at a time.
