BTC US Buying Pressure (Coinbase): 0.629%
The share of Coinbase BTC-USD trading initiated by aggressive buyers versus aggressive sellers. Green means taker buys carried more dollars that day; red means taker sells did. This measures executed order flow on Coinbase โ not a price gap and not buyer nationality.
Executed Coinbase BTC-USD order flow: how much dollar volume came from traders crossing the book to buy, compared with traders crossing it to sell, added up by UTC day.
A green bar above zero means aggressive buyers executed more dollar volume than aggressive sellers on Coinbase that day. A red bar below zero means aggressive sellers executed more. For example, +12% means the buy-minus-sell difference equals 12% of that day's measured Coinbase volume; it does not mean price rose 12%.
(aggressive buy USD โ aggressive sell USD) รท (aggressive buy USD + aggressive sell USD). Coinbase reports the resting maker side for each match; the aggressor is the opposite side. The chart sums every recorded BTC-USD match, not only whale trades.
Coinbase trades are anonymous. 'US' names the US venue, not the trader's citizenship, and this chart does not include ETF creations, OTC desks or other exchanges. The current UTC day is partial until it closes. Aggressor side cannot be reconstructed from OHLC candles, so honest history begins on 2026-08-15 when our all-trades recorder started; earlier bars are not invented.
