BTC Taker Buy/Sell Ratio: 0.942
Whether impatient buyers or impatient sellers are winning on Binance's bitcoin futures each hour. Above 1.0 buyers are taking whatever price is on offer; below 1.0 sellers are. The bars underneath show how much was traded.
Some traders leave an order sitting and wait; others take whatever price is available right this second. This compares the impatient buying with the impatient selling each hour: buy amount divided by sell amount.
Above 1.0 means more money was thrown at sellers' prices than at buyers' prices โ impatient buyers were in charge that hour. Below 1.0 it was the sellers.
For example, 1.15 means impatient buying was 15% bigger than impatient selling. A long run **above** 1.0 while the price refuses to rise means all that buying is being absorbed by someone much larger who is selling into it.
Impatient buy amount divided by impatient sell amount on Binance's bitcoin perpetual futures, one value per hour, taken exactly as published. The bars are those two amounts added together.
Binance **only** keeps about 30 days of this data, so our history starts on 15 July 2026 and grows one day at a time. It covers one exchange and futures only โ ordinary buying and selling elsewhere **is not** counted.
