BTC Volume by Exchange: $1.08B
How many dollars of bitcoin were bought and sold each day on ordinary markets, stacked by exchange: Coinbase in blue, Binance in teal, Bybit in amber.
The daily dollar value traded on three big exchanges' ordinary buy-and-sell markets, layered one on top of another so the top of the stack is all three added together. Ordinary here means real coins changing hands, not futures bets.
Tall days mean a lot of real money changed hands, so a price move that day carries more weight. For example, a stack reading $18 billion on a day the price jumps 5% means that move is backed by genuine buying; the same jump on a $4 billion day is thin and more easily undone.
Watch the Coinbase layer for American demand specifically. This splits by exchange, not by where customers live โ the regional Asia, Europe and US split you see elsewhere is a paid estimate we do not fake.
Daily dollar volume from Coinbase, Binance and Bybit, painted as bands one behind the other so each band is a running total of everything beneath it.
Three exchanges, and ordinary spot markets **only** โ futures volume **is not** included. History reaches back about 2.7 years, as far as those free feeds go.
Because the bands are cumulative, a tooltip figure is that band plus everything under it, not that one exchange on its own.
