BTC ETH/BTC Drawdown from Peak: -70.84%
How far ether sits below its best-ever price in bitcoin. The clearest single picture of how deep the hole is, and what it takes to climb out.
Today's ETH/BTC ratio measured against the highest it has ever been, in percent. Zero means a new record; -50% means ether is worth half as much bitcoin as at its peak.
For example, -74% means ether would need to roughly quadruple against bitcoin to reclaim its old high - not rise 74%. That asymmetry is why deep drawdowns take years, not months.
The flat stretches at 0% are the only periods ether genuinely led the market.
drawdown = (ratio divided by the highest ratio ever seen, minus 1) times 100
The peak is taken over the WHOLE history, never the visible window - a drawdown measured from a 90-day high would not be a drawdown at all.
